Connage Clava is our Award Winning brie-style cheese, handcrafted on our family farm, by the shores of the Moray Firth.
Clava is named after the prehistoric burial cairns of Balnuaran of Clava a few miles from our family farm in the Scottish Highlands. Their circular ring structure is mirrored in our brie style cheese.
Our smooth, pasturised creamy, quite strong earthy brie is delicious. As it ripens, Clava becomes silky and at its best when the texture has become soft and lucious. To achieve excellent results, we hand ladle the very delicate curd into moulds and mature carefully in a temperature controlled store before being individually hand wrapped.
